The Menu movie review At first, The Menu presents a couple as the protagonists of the film, where they travel to eat at a famous restaurant owned by a renowned chef. Margot and Tyler, played by Taylor-Joy and Hoult respectively, soon begin to find shocking surprises on the menu. Joining an elite group, the couple head for the secluded estate of Chef Slowik, played by Fiennes. As the story unfolds, the chef serves all the guests a variety of dishes, providing experiences that go beyond the palate. The movie is presented with a dash of comedy, despair and scares. In short, the layers of horror are explored as Margot shows nonconformity and opposes all the nonsense presented by the group. When this happens, the chef shows what his true motivations are, which go beyond all the gastronomic theater presented to the group. The feature presents characteristics of acid humor, offering pretentious art forms to viewers. Without any ownership, the audience sees the character Margot as someone who got into the chef dynamic by accident. On the other hand, the audience also manages to have fun watching the movie, insofar as they don't seek to extract texts or provocations. In principle, there's no way of predicting how The Menu will perform, either commercially or artistically. Anyway, regardless, this is one of the most exciting American productions of 2022.
