Discover the 8 best RPGs for Android 2022

There are hundreds of titles on Google Play, although not all of them are great. We've done the sorting for you and chosen the best RPGs for Android currently available.

1. Doom & Destiny

Doom and Destiny Advanced is the sequel to the original Doom and Destiny. The game features almost the same characters as its predecessor, but in a completely different story (and even dimension), according to the developers. It features 15 hours of gameplay with added free content, lots of dungeons and secrets to find, tons of monsters and even an online cooperative mode.

2. Another Eden

Another Eden is one of the most recent RPGs in this selection. It was developed by the same people who designed Chrono Trigger. The composer of the music is also the same. In Another Eden, players travel back in time to save their sister (and many others) from a group of villains. The game world is beautifully designed and the combat mechanics are relatively simple.

3. Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes is an RPG from Nintendo. The game is surprisingly smooth. Players move their characters around a checkered map. There's a story, gacha elements and some possible social interactions too.

4. Eternium

Eternium is a free action RPG. It's one of the best on Android, that's for sure. You can play offline, a feature that few RPGs have these days. The lifespan is quite substantial, the controls are easy to assimilate and the character customization possibilities are endless.

5. Sorcery

Sorcery is a popular RPG series. The first installment features an open world that you can explore as you see fit, and you can even travel back in time if you wish. You will also make many decisions that will determine the course of the game.

6. Disgaea 1

Disgaea 1 Complete is a classic strategy RPG with a story mode and excellent game mechanics. The game includes the port of the original Disgaea 1 released for PlayStation 2 in 2003. This variant also includes modern features such as automatic battle, game speed increase resource up to eight times, cloud saving and the traditional store.

7. Ilusion Connect

Illusion Connect is a very good free-to-play strategic RPG. Players can collect a variety of characters and upgrade them to fight. The story mode is very good and players can get through it in a fairly decent amount of time. The PvP, on the other hand, is full of meta changes and it can be difficult to compete at higher levels.

8. Guardian Tales

This is truly a UFO in the world of RPGs. It features action-adventure combat where players travel around the game world and dungeons to fight bosses, find treasure and level up their character. There are 50 playable characters, and this helps keep the game relatively simple. There are also guilds, PvP, a house-building mechanic and lots of quests.

9. Marvel Strike Force

Marvel Strike Force is one of the few Western RPGs with decent quality. It works like most mobile RPGs. You assemble a team of your favorite MCU characters to fight a new threat. The game's story is quite captivating and it's actually a great game if you avoid the PvP aspect of the game.Unfortunately, like most Western games, you'll have to pay to get new characters.

10. Revived Witch

This is the latest game from Yostar Limited, one of Gacha's largest game publishers. In this game, you play as a young witch who travels through worlds to solve problems. There are the usual gacha elements, such as summoning companions and story-based gameplay. The game also features narration for most of the characters, simple combat mechanics and a decent soundtrack.
